What have we been up to?
Now Aaminah & Charlotte are settled in to Fusion, we have really been able to get stuck into the world of Diversion. Clients are being supported and we all have caseloads that we are managing. During drop in times, we try to be as present as we can on the front desk so that we can get conversations going with clients and inform them of our services. We have been working on client panels and arranging workshops as well as liaising with other agencies with the aim of creating new partnerships.
Thank you!
Thank you so much to Aaminah & Charlotte for all their support with the Foodbank over the past few weeks, it really is appreciated!
A quick success story
We recently had an anxious parent in need, requiring some items for her 6-month-old. We gathered as much information as we could and made a referral to Rainbow Baby Bank. The same day, our client was able to collect baby milk, something she desperately needed. Rainbow Baby Bank them supported her with a pram, high chair and cot, which was a huge relief for our client.
Who can we help?
Just a reminder that we work mainly in the North Kirklees area, alongside the Foodbank. Therefore, when it comes to furniture requests for the Huddersfield area, the Welcome Centre will be able to assist. However, depending on circumstances, our support may cross the border!
